WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO: I have been fortunate in my career to experience many different aspects of the veterinary world, and through these experiences, I always knew there was "somewhere" I would fit into perfectly one day. PetHospice was there for me through the loss of my own pet, and it was then that I knew I had found the place I belonged.
I have always been drawn to playing a more significant role with helping families who are having to navigate the end-of-life journey with their pet, and there is no greater honor than to be able to spend time with them - hearing the stories, seeing the pictures of their memories or just being able to sit in supportive silence beside them while they say their goodbyes.
BEST WAY TO START THE DAY: Waking to the sun poking at me to get up, an invigorating workout (most days if mind and body agree), a yummy smoothie and watching my kitties perform their morning zoomies.
